Tissue

Tissue is composed of mineral glass fiber, which is typically combined with glass fiber.

Glass fiber adhesive is made of phenolic resins, melamine, or polyvinyl acetate and urea formaldehyde. The quality of fibers, adhesives, and reinforcement fibers promote the tensile strength of this felt.

The length-wise and cross-wise values of tensile strength and the weight of this product are crucial for moisture insulator (Isogum) consumers. In other words, a 66-fiber and 50g tissue may not necessarily pass the tensile strength values.

Isogum tissue

Isogum tissue has two felt layers. These two layers cause Isogum to be more resistant against moisture penetration.

The first layer is made of a polyester fabric, and the second layer is made of mineral glass fibers, which is often reinforced with glass fibers. This reinforces the tensile strength of the tissue.

The purpose of using tissue in the outermost layer of the composite structure is to avoid air holes and water penetration to prevent the failure of composite structure.

The tissue is manufactured in two strand and fiberglass models. However, both models have high moisture absorption capacity. They also prevent penetration of cold and hot weather through the roof. You should be careful when choosing Isogum tissue depending on whether you live in a hot or cold region.

The tissue quality greatly affects the price of Isogum. It is noteworthy that the manufacturing company can manufacture 50-100 g tissue with and without fiber.
